There doesn't seem to be an end in sight for the rain, and the rainy forecast has led officials to postpone the Spring Lake Irish Festival scheduled for this Saturday.

The bad news is the Spring Lake Irish Festival will not take place this Saturday due to the predicted inclement weather for the Jersey Shore. The good news is you don't have to wait long for the Festival to take place.

Officials have rescheduled the event for Saturday, June 9th, and will feature great entertainment and fun for the entire family. There will be a beer and wine garden, an Irish Soda Bread contest, Irish step dancers, kids activities (including a petting zoo), and a food court.

The Spring Lake Irish Festival will take place June 9th from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm at Third and Morris Ave.

Moya & Aidan Rushe, owners of the Irish Centre joined us earlier in the week, before the postponement,  to discuss this great event. We have attached the video of that interview so you can hear all about the great event. Just remember the date has been changed to June 9th!
