State Agrees with Judge in Firing of Manalapan H.S. Principal

The former principal of Manalapan High School should be fired, according to the State Commissioner of Education

According to the Asbury Park Press, Chris Cerf agreed with an Administrative Law Judge's recommendation in January to fire Jeff Simon in a case charging him with violating the Freehold Regional School District's policies that endangered staff and students as well as mishandling student activity funds.

Cerf agreed that Simon's account lacked credibility as he was attempting to get his job back. Simon's Attorney says he plans to appeal the decision.
