Just when you think we've seen it all here at the Jersey Shore as extreme weather continues to pound us, now the talk is that a tsunami hit the Barnegat Inlet on June 13th.

According to brick.patch.com, the National Weather Service is apparently investigating what may have caused the tsunami. According to the report, a witness saw so much water rush out that a "sunken jetty was fully exposed". That was followed, according to a witness, by a six foot wave. Data observed seems to back the witness accounts.

So what else are we going to see here at the Jersey Shore? I mean, really? When is enough enough? Nor'easters, hurricanes, superstorms and endless severe thunderstorms and flooding. We need a break. We deserve one, and we've definitely earned one.
