Time for the tourists to hit the Jersey Shore. Most have been here before or if they haven't, they come prepared with the hot spots that they want to hit. Many times what out-of-towners consider a "hot spot" and what we think is a must-see differs. The website Supercompressor.com went through each state and named "the most underrated tourist attraction." Their choice for New Jersey happens to be right here in Monmouth County.

And the winner is...The Stone Pony.

Considered one of the greatest rock venues of all time by the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, this unsuspecting dive is best known as the place where Springsteen and Bon Jovi launched their careers. It's since become a must-stop institution for acts traveling through. If you're lucky, you might even catch a set by Bruce himself, who's been known to drop in now and again to play.

Do you agree with this choice? Where do you bring people who have never been to the Shore to? Tell us in the comment section?
