The National Weather Service has canceled flood watches. There are unofficial rain totals of little more than 2 and a half inches in Howell, 2 inches in Trenton and more than an inch and

three-quarters in Mount Holly.

Utility crews are dealing with scattered power outages, with about 317 customers affected statewide.

Officials say the rain should go a long way toward alleviating the state’s drought conditions, which have helped spark several major brush fires in recent weeks.

The storm gave upstate New York a spring snowstorm and is expected to leave up to 9 inches of snow in the Buffalo area.

The Mets canceled their Sunday afternoon game with the San Francisco Giants and will play a single-admission doubleheader on Monday at Citi Field at 1:10PM. Rain in Boston forced the Red Sox to cancel their Sunday night game with the Yankees; the make up game is yet to be announced.
