Stray with a Sparkling Personality

Our Point Pet of the Week was found very thin, with a microchip. But no one lived at the address or answered the phone number to which the chip was registered. Sparkles is believed to also have recently had puppies.

Fortunately, this gorgeous stray was rescued by the Monmouth County SPCA, and is getting a lot of love and attention from the volunteers who love her personality. They say she simply sparkles, so that's what they named her. But Sparkles needs a real, forever home.

Sparkles is doing much better now that she is getting regular, delicious meals and she is getting to a nice healthy weight and is full of life. And tricks, too! She knows a lot of basic commands and loves to show them off.

It is estimated that this precious dog is about 2-years old. She loves to play, and tennis balls are her favorite for a game of Fetch. She loves to go for walks and on outings...the beach is one of her favorite places. She is a well-behaved young lady in the car and enjoys rides with her human friends.

And while she does love her human friends, she would prefer to be the only dog in your home so that she can get all the attention. And at the end of the day she loves to snuggle on a good lap.
