Study Says There is No Difference Between Male and Female Brain

A new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences blasts the notion that men are from Mars and women are from Venus.

Researchers used MRI scans of more than 1,400 brains and found that "human brains do not belong to one of two distinct categories," male and female. The AP reports that those researachers also analyzed psychological and behavioral scores from two prior studies that covered more than 5,000 participants and once again got the same results. Psychologist Daphna Joel of Tel Aviv University, who led the study, suggests the results have "important implications for social debates on long-standing issues such as the desirability of single-sex education and the meaning of sex/gender as a social category.”
