There were no injuries after reports of shots fired surfaced near a house party on Richardson Avenue in Eatontown Saturday night, but investigators seek your help finding the suspects.

A homeowner nearby told police one of the two juveniles in the road fired twice into the air with a handgun.

Patrolman spoke with some of the party-goers but they didn't have any info on the suspects.

"Fortunately, there were no injuries, but that does not diminish the need to locate the individual or individuals responsible for firing bullets into the air near a house party on Saturday night," Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said.

Monmouth County prosecutors say the incident appears isolated and there's no danger to the public.

They're working with the Eatontown Police Department in solving the case.

This was the first of three crimes in Monmouth County over the New Year's weekend, the last two became fatal.
