Our Point Pet of the Week is named Amos. And he needs a home.

Amos is a 3-and-a-half year old Terrier mix who came to the Monmouth County SPCA when his family was forced to give him up because he was too afraid to live with the new infant in the home.

Amos is much more comfortable with older children and adults, so that's the kind of home he needs. He's got such amazing eyes that will win you over with just one look. When you pet him he will lean into you and snuggle. And he loves getting attention from his human friends : )

Play time is great!  Amos gets so excited with new toys. Tug and fetch are two of his favorite games. He also loves long walks in the sun...but he isn't crazy about water so he won't walk in the rain, lol.

Amos loves car rides but sometimes gets a little overly excited so he needs work on that. We hope that just the right person will come along to love and care for Amos. If you would like to meet him, come visit the Eatontown location at 260 Wall Street, 7 days a week from Noon - 5 pm and on Wednesdays there are bonus hours until 7 pm!

So come get your pet microchipped, no appointment necessary. All other vaccines are available, too, including heartworm testing and the 4DX test...plus you can purchase your preventatives, too!

So bring your leashed or crated pet, no appointment necessary!
