Meet Chloe, our Point Pet of the Week.

This beautiful dog looks to be a hound or terrier mix. She originally came to stay at the Monmouth County SPCA when her family had to give her up because they were not allowed to have pets where they lived. Then, almost a year ago, Chloe was adopted by a nice lady.  But unfortunately that home was a bit overwhelming for this dog, as she is a senior girl who prefers a quiet setting. There was too much activity in the home for her comfort so, after trying to make it work for 3 months, it was decided that it was best for Chloe to be brought back to the shelter.

So here she is, 19 months after first coming to the shelter, and Chloe is still in search of a forever home. Her human friends at the shelter take her on so many outings to the park, beach, and even sleepovers with her best human buddy who reports that Chloe is a delight to have at home and especially loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. In fact, Chloe loves her overnight outings so much that she gets super excited when she sees her best human buddy...hoping it's sleep-over time again.

Chloe is great inside the home and is house trained. She is a fun-loving girl who prefers to be an only pet because she loves to be the center of attention. She has so much love to give that with her around you won't even need another pet! This is one smart dog who knows all the basic commands, and then some. She loves to play fetch and with other toys, and she is very affectionate and loves to give kisses to her human friends.
