April 6, 2012 The Ashley Lauren Foundation is an organization that works tirelessly to help New Jersey children and their families who are facing pediatric cancer. Many times I have seen their committment to those kids and their families first hand and it is inspiring and very important.
February 15, 2012 As you know, we have been making our way around Monmouth and Ocean Counties selling the "Brick Strong" bracelets to help the Ashley Lauren Foundation. Check out the amazing story that started it all here, a story about New York Giant Justin Tuck and his friendship with Middletown's Evan Sullivano. Today we will be in Freehold at Major Tool on Throckmorton St. from noon until 1pm selling the bracelets for $10 with proceeds going to the Ashley Lauren Foundation.
February 10, 2012 One of the most touching stories of the Giants amazing Super Bowl run was Justin Tuck's 'Brick Strong' bracelet. Tuck got the bracelet from Middletown boy Evan Sullivano, who was battling Leukemia. Justin and Evan met through the Ashley Lauren Foundation and became great friends. When Evan lost his battle to leukemia, Tuck vowed to never take the bracelet off...and he hasn't. You probably saw it several times during the Super Bowl. Read the whole amazing story here. January 27, 2012 My first real exposure to the Ashley Lauren Foundation was at the Giants practice facility where I saw the Foundation give New Jersey kids battling cancer a chance to meet their favorite football heroes, including Eli Manning. It was amazing to see their faces, and it was there I first met Mark Levine. Mark was a young boy who had passion for many things, including burgers. I was also fortunate enough to be there when the Foundation was able to grant his wish of meeting Bobby Flay.
