Living right off of Rt. 9 in Berkeley Township is crazy busy most times. It's always backed up and it's always tough making a left onto Rt. 9 at any intersection unless there's a traffic light.
Seaside Heights Mayor Tony Vaz is suggesting that other shore towns follow his borough's example of having lifeguards on duty until the end of September.
It's not just about avoiding getting a ticket, paying a fine, it's about the risk of causing an accident single vehicle or otherwise, and, even worse than that, seriously or fatally injuring someone.
