In case you missed the news, OREO announced a new, limited edition S'mores flavor, set to hit stores this Friday, just in time for summer.
I was able to score a package early to review for you!
Lord knows I'm a huge fan of red velvet cake (and all things red-velvety!) so when I heard OREO was really making a red velvet version of America's Favorite Cookie, I was beyond excited!
Luckily, I got my hands on a sample before they hit stores to review them for you!
Remember back in October when a picture of Red Velvet Oreos went viral but there was no proof that they really existed?
Well they're real and they're spectacular coming to a store near you in the next few weeks!
Quite like pumpkin spice, red velvet is one of those 'flavors' that has taken over every possible food item...and never really winds up being very good.
But Red Velvet Oreos? Sign. Me. Up.
When it comes to Oreo cookies, things are no longer black in white...at any given point in the year, you can find them in just about every color imaginable...with more and more flavor varieties all the time.
Since calories don't count on snow days, (you're welcome) I decided it would be a perfect day to try out the newest versions.
Oreo Cookies celebrate their 100th Anniversary today, and what kind of cookie lover would I be if I didn't celebrate with their Birthday Cake flavored treats?
So are they any different than the original?
I made it 6 days...and then it appeared. A glorious basket full of chocolate-covered pretzels, cookies, and peppermint bark. Forget the diet, this stuff looks too good! Chocolate + salt = amazing.
