It's swimming season, and we all know to be vigilant when watching kids at the beach or in the pool. You may think you know the signs that someone is drowning or needs help, but it can look very different from what you see on TV!

What's the number one killer at New Jersey beaches every summer?  Rip currents.  They lead the list of surf hazards for anyone of any age. Thousands are rescued each year while hundreds of others drown.
