Funtown Pier in Seaside, Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant, the recently redone Belmar Boardwalk, and the brand new waterfront in Union Beach...all major attractions in our area, and all casualties of the monster we call Sandy.
So what should be rebuilt first?
The Jersey Shore got covered in heavy snow just barely a week after Hurricane Sandy, with some places like Toms River seeing a foot of the white stuff.
Naturally, the kids want to run out and play...but it's not exactly safe this time around.
The Nor'easter now known as Winter Storm Athena is over our area dropping rain/snow mixes and freezing out many people that haven't had power (or heat) in a week.
Many of our local school districts are now going on two weeks with the kids home from school.
Parents are considerably less excited than the little ones.
There's been several Facebook campaigns suggesting that Snooki, The Situation, and the rest of the cast of 'Jersey Shore' should be donating money to help rebuild our area.
At the very least, they will now be donating their time.
As we continue to clean up from Hurricane Sandy, many of you are concerned about getting prescriptions filled.
We'll do our best to keep this list of open pharmacies updated.
