I am always sensitive to New Jersey's reputation. I think we get a bad rap all the time, and while I was doing a little research, I found one survey that certainly doesn't help us improve our reputation.
I have recently written about how we here in New Jersey get an undeserved reputation for rudeness from out- of- staters, comedians and TV shows. I spoke about how they just don't get us and don't know us. Then it dawned on me. The only exposure many of them have to us does make us seem extremely rude. They've seen us drive.
I have seen it first hand a million times. When there are neighbors, children, first responders, or anyone else in need of help, Monmouth and Ocean counties, and all of New Jersey for that matter, always comes through. We reach into our pockets, even when there's not a lot in them to do what we can. We're good neighbors, good friends and good people! So when is Hollywood going to get it? Hey Holly
