A group of Monmouth County teachers have put their creativity to work again, this time creating a parody of Justin Bieber's 'Sorry' to get their students excited for Read Across America Day!
There's no doubt that creative teachers are the best kind!
A group of local teachers needed a way to get students interested in reading and Read Across America Day, and what better way than with an awesome song, set to the tune of Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off!'
I love getting the opportunity to visit local schools, especially on 'Read Across America' day, and I had that opportunity this past Friday when I went to the Emma Havens Young School in Brick and visited Miss Holman's 5th grade class. The children were great and asked awesome questions. They also seemed to get a kick out of the way Liz and I make fun of each other.
