Restore the Shore

Funtown Pier in Seaside, Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant, the recently redone Belmar Boardwalk, and the brand new waterfront in Union Beach...all major attractions in our area, and all casualties of the monster we call Sandy. So what should be rebuilt first?

If you want to help your neighbors in Toms River devastated by Sandy here's one way to do it.

There's been several Facebook campaigns suggesting that Snooki, The Situation, and the rest of the cast of 'Jersey Shore' should be donating money to help rebuild our area. At the very least, they will now be donating their time.

Today I stopped by the Ventnor Community Center to drop of clothes and other products to just try to do a little part in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. What I saw was a community coming together to help "Restore the Shore." The room was filled with food, diapers, water, clothes and just about anything you might need to help get you by during these trying times...
