President Obama will visit Boston on Thursday to attend an interfaith service as the investigation continues into Monday's Boston Marathon explosions that injured 176 and left 3 dead.
Two explosions went off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon injuring at least 130 people, and killing at least 3 people according to Boston Police including an 8-year-old. Of those 124 people, 15 of them are in critical condition.
Rutgers University Athletic Director Tim Pernetti has stepped down as university President Robert Barachi issues an apology to those who were offended by the Mike Rice video and explain his actions and those of Pernetti.
BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: This afternoon Townsquare Media NJ received a letter from members of the St. Peter's Prep basketball team in support of Coach Todd Decker. In the letter, the players say, "at no point ever have we felt threatened or fearful in any towards Coach Decker." They go on to say, "Coach Decker has nothing but our support and dedication."
Rutgers University is under pressure over how it should react to a video of basketball coach Mike Rice aired by ESPN that shows him shoving, grabbing and throwing balls at players in practice and using gay slurs.
