No one needs to tell you or me that the Jersey Shore is due for a break when it comes to weather. As a matter of fact, if there was justice in the world of weather, we would have great weather for a year straight. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way.

I know Saturday was a little shaky, but here we are nearing the end of January and..so far so good. Do you remember last year? Of course you do. We got buried under a pile of snow right after Christmas and didn't see the front lawn again until March.

It was 12 degrees with a wind chill of -8. There is literally no way to describe that feeling, is there? I think it's even worse for me because I'm a summer person. All the Jersey Shore brochures show warm beaches, boardwalks and sausage and pepper sandwiches. You never see a picture of a person struggling through a windswept parking lot, with a winter coat, scarf and a cold tear streaming down her face.
