Snow White and the Huntsman grabbed a very solid $56.3 million this weekend to knock MIB III out of the top spot. The Will Smith flick pulled in just over $29 million, and although it's already out of number one, it has grabbed over $112 million in those two weeks. But the story again this weekend is really The Avengers.

A week from tomorrow the New Jersey Hall of Fame's 5th Annual Induction ceremonies will take place at NJPAC and some more legendary Garden State names will be honored. Past honorees include Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Frank Sinatra, Danny DeVito and Jack Nicholson among others and the honorees of the Class of 2012 include Christopher Reeve, The E Street Band and Michael Douglas.

I love stories like this.What isn't a big deal to some could be the biggest deal to someone else. I often see people dropping a bag of clothes into the Goodwill bin in front of the Point Pleasant Boro Police Department as I drive by.

When hysterical comedian Jeff Norris heard about the Mollie Marie Angel Fund he knew he had to help. The fund was put together by Bricktown Veterinary Hospital to help care for sick and homeless pets. He is a huge animal lover and has put together an awesome night of comedy again this year to benefit the fund.

You don't need me to tell you what Memorial Day is all about. We will all have those who made the ultimate sacrifice in our minds this weekend and especially on Monday. I did want to share a story with you about a veteran I met, though.

During the winter and spring, some people were involved with words like zumba, training, aerobics and dieting. I was involved with words like pizza, cake, pasta and Dessert Wars. I have plenty of time to get into reasonable summer shape, right? Wrong.
