World Autism Awareness Day

It's World Autism Awareness Day, with a lot of people wearing blue and committing to 'Light It Up Blue' for Autism Speaks. But after this day has come and gone, there are easy things you can do to be supportive and 'Autism Aware' every day of the year.

It's World Autism Awareness Day, and for many, that means wearing blue, donning puzzle piece pins, and installing blue light bulbs for tonight. For families affected by autism, it's just another Wednesday, full of the daily challenges that come with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

It has recently been reported that New Jersey has the highest rate of autism in the United States and Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden want to be sure Monmouth County's first responders have all the information they need.
