Two great events are taking place locally to raise money for Mary's Place By The Sea, a place in Ocean Grove for women with cancer to heal their minds, bodies, and souls.

This Saturday, November 22nd, from 2  to 5 p.m., it's the 9th Annual Pink Ribbon Benefit at Connolly Station, 711 Main Street in Belmar. For a $25 donation (children younger than age 12 are free) you get a hot and cold buffet starting at 3 p.m. There will be a Chinese auction with over 100 baskets and prizes, each worth over a hundred dollars including gift cards for massages, restaurants, lottery tickets, and more 100% of the proceeds go to Mary's Place By The Sea.

On Thanksgiving morning, it's the Turkey Bowl starting at 9 a.m. in Monmouth Beach at Griffin Park Field. Shore to Help is hosting this annual event and will donate the proceeds to Mary's Place by the Sea. Come tailgate and watch this amazing organization of men and their families play football. A tradition on Thanksgiving to give back in a unique and fun way. You can also register to play if you are 25 or older. So put your bird in the oven and it will be done when you get home from the Bowl! CLICK HERE for more info.
