We had so much fun doing our morning show from the IHOP in Brick earlier this week to help kids who need special care. Here's how much was raised.

National Pancake Day brought so many wonderful local residents to the Brick IHOP this past Tuesday to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Donations, including those made on IHOP National Pancake Day, stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care. In our area, that money goes to Children's Specialized Hospital.

Lou Masci and his wife Toni, owners of the Brick IHOP, are truly committed to saving and improving the lives of the kids in our community. Lou had tears in his eyes as he told us some of the stories of the kids he has met who may not have survived if it wasn't for the services of Children's Specialized Hospital.

Lou also had some of the families there for us to meet that morning who continue to have their treatments done at Children's Specialized Hospital. Their stories are true miracles. They have been treated for everything from chronic illness to complex physical disabilities like brain and spinal cord injuries to developmental and behavioral issues like autism and mental health.

This time around, Lou says the Brick IHOP raised $71,000 for the Children's Miracle Network, thanks to all of your very generous donations.
