I'll spare you the "you know you're a redneck if..." jokes and get right to the redneck rundown.

Let me start by saying this list is from the Roadsnacks website. Their views do not reflect mine or the radio stations. In all honestly, there are some towns that should have made the top 10 that are on here.

So how exactly do you determine what makes a place "redneck?" The scholars at Roadsnacks said their criteria was based on:

1) The definition of a redneck.

  • Small towns
  • Least amount of high school graduates

2) Stereotypes. (Because that's scientific)

  • Number of bars per city
  • Number of mobile home parks per capita
  • Number of tobacco stores per city
  • Number of places to get fishing gear
  • Number of guns and ammo stores per city
  • Walmarts, Golden Corrals, Bass Pro Shops, and Dollar Generals nearby

And now to the top 10...

  1. Vineland
  2. Bridgeton
  3. Millville
  4. Woodbury
  5. Hammonton
  6. Hackettstown
  7. Villas
  8. Newton
  9. Woodstown
  10. Blackwood

As you can see, with the exception of Hackettstown and Newton, that's a whole lot of South Jersey.
