The Cheapest Beaches in Monmouth and Ocean Counties in 2014

It's almost beach badge season, so which ones are the most and least expensive this year?

When it comes to Monmouth and Ocean Counties, the range is pretty significant.

The cheapest:

Monmouth County:

• Long Branch: $45 seasonal, $5 daily ($7 weekends)
• Belmar: $50 seasonal, $7 daily
• Asbury Park: $70 seasonal, $5 daily ($6 weekends)

Sandy Hook is free to get on the beach, but you have to either pay $15/day for your car, or get a $75 seasonal parking pass.

Ocean County:

• Ortley Beach (Toms River): $35 seasonal, $7 daily ($8 weekends)
• Surf City (LBI): $35 seasonal, $6 daily
• Barnegat Light (LBI): $35 seasonal, $5 daily

Most expensive:

Monmouth County:

• Sea Girt: $105 seasonal, $10 daily
• Spring Lake: $105 seasonal, $10 daily
• Sea Bright: $100 seasonal, $8 daily
• Deal: $100 seasonal, $6 daily ($7 weekends)

Ocean County:

• Point Pleasant (Martell's): $100 seasonal, $6 daily ($7.50 weekends)
• Point Pleasant (Jenkinson's): $90 seasonal, $8 daily ($9 weekends)
• Point Pleasant (Maryland Ave.): $90 seasonal, $8 daily
• Point Pleasant (Bradshaw's): $90 seasonal, $8 daily

I think we all have our favorite beach spots, and whether we have to shell out a little more or get to save a bit, nothing is gonna stop us from soaking up the sun here at the Jersey Shore!
