Think you can guess the drunkest towns in NJ?

RoadSnacks created the list, based on criteria including: the number of bars, wineries, and liquor stores per capita, amount of "drunk related tweets" in the town within the last week, and each places divorce rate.

"Drunk related tweets" were any that included the following hashtags: #Drunk, #Party, #Beer, #Wine and #Cocktails, while the divorce rate was included because "studies have indicated that when one or both partners in a marriage are alcoholics, that couple is three times more likely to divorce."

Mmmm k.

So, think you can figure out who made the list? Check out the top ten drunkest places in Jersey:

  1. (tie) Atlantic City
  2. (tie) Belmar
  3. Morristown
  4. Red Bank
  5. Phillipsburg
  6. Butler
  7. Asbury Park
  8. Wildwood
  9. Hoboken
  10. Paulsboro

Considering where most people I know hang out around here, I'm not too surprised at the three Monmouth County towns found on this list, but I seriously can't believe Seaside is nowhere to be found in the top ten!

Wherever you're gettin' your drink on, make sure you're callin' a cab to get home!
