The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties has rebranded, now using a new name, but offering the same plethora of services to assist local residents in need.

The new organization is called Fulfill, a change meant to show they are more than just a food pantry.

Executive Director Carlos Rodriguez said In a press release,

We changed our name because we are evolving and invite our neighbors and partners to mobilize and engage in the many hunger-fighting services that help shorten the food line and add to the bottom line of families in need.  Because ending hunger in our community is a complex challenge, it takes a comprehensive approach to provide the resources people need to maintain active, healthy lifestyles."

In addition to offering food pantries and feeding programs to the community, they provide free tax preparation services, assistance in enrolling in SNAP and healthcare programs, and culinary job training and placement.

They add that 95 cents of every dollar donated goes to people in need.

Fulfill has two locations in our area, one on Rt. 66 in Neptune, and another at the B.E.A.T. Center on Hooper Ave. in Toms River.
