Calling all musicians and bands to Seaside Heights THIS WEEKEND for The Jersey Shore Festival.

Over 300 bands from all over the world are heading to the Jersey Shore to be given the chance to stand out and perform for a live crowd and can you believe it, admission is FREE.

“We want to give the little guys a chance,” said Jersey Shore Festival founder Joseph Antao. “When a band questions me, ‘how do I stand out?’ I say do the exact opposite  of what  everybody else is doing, What we tell bands is you have to step out in order to be noticed.”

There are five out door stages including:

The Grant Avenue Stage at 50 Grant Ave.
The Hershey Motel/Voyager Live Stage at 1415 Blvd on the boardwalk
The Carteret Avenue Stage on the boardwalk
The Franklin Avenue Stage on the boardwalk
The Kearney Avenue Busking Stage on the boardwalk

Other venues participating include Aztec, Jimbo's, Rigger's, Spicy's Cantina, and the Barn.

In addition to a massive amount of musical performances, BMX bikes, a vendor village, and a food truck court, former NFL players will verse the Toms River Police department in a flag football game to benefit the Toms River Police Foundation at 1:00 PM on Saturday.
