The Jersey Shore Smashed Temp Records Yesterday

I was out walking on the the Belmar boardwalk on a WARM January day yesterday. Where were you? Here's how 'hot' it got and who broke records.

I couldn't even wear a long-sleeved shirt yesterday at the beach...it was WAY too hot for that! At the time that I was out there, it hit 67 in Belmar. It may have gotten even warmer after that. Even when the breeze blew...it was STILL warm...bordering on downright HOT!

Oceanport, Howell, and Toms River all hit 70 and shattered records for Jan. 12th. It was just one of those days that made you smile after the biting cold of just a few days ago.

No wonder we are so moody in NJ and that the road rage during rush hour gets so bad. When it's minus 1 on Monday and 70 on Thursday...who wouldn't suffer a mood swing? Especially when we may see another inch or so of snow tomorrow morning!
