One week from today I will reach a milestone that I am simultaneously dreading and looking forward to.

It's the big 3-0. Yep, I'm turning 30. (Or as I like to call it, the first anniversary of my 29th birthday.)

I don't know how it happened, since I feel like it's been about a minute since I started interning at NJ 101.5 (2005), graduated college (2007), and got my first full-time job here at the Point (2009.) I swear I was JUST talking about being single (2011) and how there was no ring on this finger (2015).

Well, here I am.

I found out I'm in store for the best birthday party ever (Okay, so it's technically *not* my birthday party, but we ARE hosting an awesome happy hour at Rella's in Brielle with a performance by Lifehouse at 5 p.m. on February 26th, and that's my birthday, so...)

Before that though, any suggestions on how to spend this last week of my 20s? I'm not about to go on some crazy bender, or traverse the globe (I'm turning 30, not rich) so maybe this will wind up being more of a mental bucket list?

More importantly, I want to know all the best things about being in your 30s. And your 40s. and beyond!

Let the countdown begin!
