Oh, that powdered sugar!!! When I'm at the boardwalk I have trouble choosing between funnel cake and zeppoli. But if you're more adventurous, there are some interesting things being deep-friend these days.

I STILL haven't gotten around to trying a fried oreo or a fried twinkie, but apparently I am way, way behind the times when it comes to the latest fried inventions showing up at fairs and on our boardwalks.

How about a fried avocado? Or fried Kook-Aid balls?

And now the inventor of fried Girl Scout cookies is once again on the cutting edge of greasy food with a new experiment:

Deep fried cereal. Made with Trix and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, it debuted this month, drizzled with syrup and topped with a few extra pieces of cereal. (Yahoo News)
