This is arguably one of the most incredible views at the Jersey Shore, and a place where you can see something that is hard to find elsewhere in our area.

Sometimes we spend too much time running around and don't stop long enough to appreciate the view. Sometimes we should take a cue from the tourists and seek out what they yearn for...something that is right at our fingertips.

If you have not stopped at this particular place in your travels around the Jersey Shore, it's long past time that you did.

The couples on these benches are wise. They know where to go and how to spend time together doing a simple thing.

And that is taking in the view from this special place where the river meets the ocean as boats large and small come and go. Where you can always catch a breeze even on the hottest of summer days. Where you can watch the tides drift in and out. And where you can see spectacular sunrises AND sunsets. The sun rises over the ocean and then, with a half-turn, sets over the river. Rare to find in one spot.

I am talking about the Manasquan River Inlet leading to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Whether you are watching from the Monmouth County side in Manasquan or, as pictured here, the Ocean County side at the very end of Jenkinson's Boardwalk, or, my personal favorite spot -- a bench on Inlet Drive where the fishermen hang out, this is a true destination spot.

No wonder you can catch even the most famous of people -- people who have traveled the WORLD -- right here at this famous inlet. Because it is truly a spot to behold. I have heard numerous stories of Bruce Springsteen and Jack Nicholson sightings down here. Even they keep coming back for the view.

What do you consider to be the most beautiful spot at the Jersey Shore?
