-- 33% of pet parents regularly bring their dog on dates for these top reasons: 1. To make sure their dog and potential partner get along, 2. Because they feel their dog is a good judge of character, and 3. Because they feel more comfortable when they have their dog with them.

-- 69% of dog people agree that seeing that someone is a dog lover would make them more interested in dating that person.

-- 25% of dog people have actually continued a relationship or friendship just because they liked the person's dog.

-- 53% of pet parents would consider ending a relationship if their partner didn't like dogs or was severely allergic.

-- 47% Of dog lovers cuddle with their dog more than they cuddle with their significant other. (Women are more likely to choose to cuddle their dog rather than their man.)

-- 24% of pet parents take more pictures with their dog than friends, family or their significant other

-- 81% of dog owners use a 'baby voice' or 'puppy voice' when they talk to their dog.
