Romantic Table For Three?

When I heard we were having a staff party on the beautiful River Lady, I thought it would be a great chance to spend time with some co-workers and maybe even share a romantic moment with Diane on a beautiful evening.

That didn't exactly happen, though. Even though the sky was clear and the temperature was nearly perfect, a weather pattern affected our romantic night. It was a little storm named Liz. Diane and I spent the evening at a cozy little table for three...all night long.

When Diane and I boarded the River Lady, we saw Liz sitting alone at a table in the back corner of the boat. we thought to ourselves, "Let's sit there." Two and a half hours later, Liz was talking, Diane was listening, and I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Kind of like a floating version of the morning show.

Anyway, we did have a great night. The view was amazing, and the trip was fantastic. We may have created a new craze for dinner cruises and restaurants all over Monmouth and Ocean Counties..."cozy little table for three".
