“The Situation” Enters Rehab

Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has entered rehab, TMZ reports. The website says his reps won't confirm Sorrentino is in a rehabilitation facility, but they do say he, "has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

Like many members of the hard-partying Jersey Shore cast, The Situation is paid handsomely for nightclub appearances -- in same cases making up to $50,000 just to show up. Additionally, Sitch was apparently paid a half-million bucks to be the face of Devotion vodka, a protein-infused spirit.

MTV confirmed yesterday that a sixth season of Jersey Shore will shoot this summer with the original cast.
