The penthouse at Asbury Park's Ocean Club is still up for grabs. Sources are telling me some major A-list celebs are interested in this space.

Whoever calls the penthouse home will truly get million-dollar views of Asbury Park and the Atlantic. With 4,500 square feet, four bedrooms, four full and two half baths, and a wraparound terrace, we knew 1101 Ocean Ave # E, Asbury Park, New Jersey would be in high demand.

I was excited to hear about some of the celebrities that are interested in moving in. According to my sources, they include:

Hugh Jackman

The Australian actor has a residence in New York City and is a big Bruce Springsteen fan. I was lucky enough to be at the grand opening of Asbury Lanes. Portugal. The Man headlined the event, and Bruce made an appearance. Hangin' in the background? Hugh Jackman.

Kelly Ripa

New Jersey Hall of Famer Kelly Ripa has Garden State roots. She was born in Stratford and she and husband Mark Consuelous along with their kids visit NJ often.

Lady Gaga

Mother Monster's home base is in New York City, but Gaga having a pad in Asbury Park makes all of the sense in the world. You've seen "Music Saved Asbury Park." Well, it's true. Given Asbury's rich musical and artistic culture, it's not a surprise that Lady Gaga has shown interest in the Asbury Ocean Club penthouse.

Beyonce

Will Queen Bey make Asbury Park her kingdom? My sources say she is interested. Again, she, Jay-Z, and the family are based in NYC and having this penthouse "down the Shore" would be great for the kids. Will they be able to leave the penthouse and enjoy Asbury without a constant mob of fan and paparazzi? Probably not. But have you seen this place? It wouldn't be difficult to spend a day or two on top.

You may be asking, "if all of these celebs are interested, why is the property still on the market?" It's likely because while the majority of The Ocean Club has been completed, work is still being done. Construction is ongoing for future retailers. It's possible that interested parties are waiting for the high rise to be completed. But you know what they say, you snooze, you lose!
