Looking for love? Statistically, the answer is yes if you live in any of these Jersey Shore towns.

New Jersey Advanced Media did some research state-wide and narrowed down the NJ towns with the most singles down to a top 25. Here's how the calculated things.

The numbers were taken from the 2013-2017 American Community Survey by the U.S. Census. "Single" can include people separated from their spouses, as well as anyone widowed or divorced. Towns with a high margin of error were removed from the list, as were two places that reported large prison populations.

People younger than 15 were excluded from the population counts. Until recently, people under 16 had been allowed to marry in New Jersey if they had both parental consent and approval from a judge, but a law passed last year raised the minimum age to 18.

Let's focus on Monmouth and Ocean counties. Here are the towns that have the most people who are flying solo.

Asbury Park -  72.8% of residents are single.

Seaside Heights - 70.1% of residents are single.

Neptune City - 66.3% of residents are single.

Red Bank - 65.5 % of residents are single.
