This black beauty has been named Sandy, and is the only cat at the Monmouth County SPCA who hasn't been reunited with its owner since she got lost in the storm a year ago. Please help Sandy find a new home!

She appeared on a nice family's doorstep the day of the hurricane last year, so to keep her safe from the storm, the family took her in and cared for her.

Unfortunately, that family was in the process of moving to Israel, so they could not keep her so they brought her to the Monmouth County SPCA.

Sandy lived with young children and was great with them, but she does prefer to be an only pet.

Sandy is about 5 years old and is the ultimate lap cat! She is friendly and sweet and is a purr machine!
