This Dog Went to His Owner's Funeral to Say Goodbye

Our Point Pet of the Week from Freehold is heartbroken to have lost his beloved owner.

The Monmouth County SPCA says he is a Terrier mix, and that Geo was even present at his owner's funeral paying his last respects to a man he adored.

Geo is eight years old and was brought to the shelter by extended members of the Freehold Township family after the dog's owner's sad passing and funeral.

Don't let his age fool you - Geo loves long walks with his shelter buddies and playing with his tennis balls in the park.

This boy has his commands down pat! "Sit", "Stay" and "Paw" are just a few that he loves to show off.

If you are looking for a faithful and loving companion, look no further than Geo. This dog has plenty of years left to be loved. Don't leave him alone and grieving.
