This One Year Old in Monmouth County Needs a Forever Home
Meet Bruno Mars, a 1-year old who still thinks he is a puppy.
Bruno Mars, our Point Pet of the Week, is a mixed breed who looks to be a terrier/boxer mix. This adorable southern boy has been brought to the Jersey Shore in the hopes that he will be adopted into a loving home.
Even thought he's a big boy now, Bruno still acts like an overgrown puppy. He is a quick learner and works for treats. He already has a few commands under his best.
Bruno loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and loves playing with squeaky toys, too, and playing tug is one of his favorite games! He also loves to jump around a lot, and the foster family he is staying with is helping him with this.
If you want to meet Bruno, please call ahead since he is staying with a foster family. They will arrange a meeting for you at the Eatontown location. The Monmouth County SPCA is open 7 days a week from Noon to 5 pm. For more info, call 732-542-4552 or email adoptions@monmouthcountyspca.org.
Also, if you are interested in fostering a dog or puppy, the MCSPCA will be having an open house for potential dog and puppy foster homes on Saturday, June 11th, at 10:30 am at the Eatontown location. Come ask all of the questions you are dying to know about what it means to be a foster home. Learn how you can help a dog become ready for their new forever home. Light refreshments will be served and all questions answered. Interested participants can sign up that day to start making a difference in a dog's life.
