This Shepherd/Irish Setter Mix Needs a Home

Our Point Pet of the Week had to be surrendered to the SPCA by an owner that could no longer take care of her. Now Riley needs another chance at a forever home.

Riley is about 3 and-a-half years old. Her previous owner was having hardship issues so now this beautiful dog is being taken care of by the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Monmouth County SPCA.

Riley is an active girl who needs an active family to keep up with her with, perhaps, some hiking or running. This sweet girl can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but once she gets to know you she will be your friend for life.

One of Riley's favorite summertime activities is splashing in the water. And she just loves to play with tennis balls and squeaky toys. Fetch is her favorite game of all.

But Riley is not all play. She is also a smart girl and can solve puzzle toys quickly. She knows her basic commands, too!
