Our Point Pet of the Week, Rojo, was brought to the shelter by a family who was no longer able to care for him.

This 2-year old Terrier mix is the victim of a landlord who would not allow any pets so his family had to give him up. Rojo was the only pet in the home and he got accustomed to that lifestyle, so he would do best with a family that has no other pets. He is used to getting all the attention!

Rojo is a smart boy and knows most of his basic commands. He responds well to treats and is capable of learning even more tricks. He especially loves his human volunteer friends at the Monmouth County SPCA and enjoys taking walks with them and having some play time.

(Roho, MCSPCA)

This precious dog also loves to cuddle and snuggle and appreciates a nice, comfy bed with a soft blanket in which he can crawl up for a nice nap (don't we all?!). Rojo also gives lots of kisses!

So if you are interested in meeting this sweet boy, please go see him at the Eatontown location of the MCSPCA. For hours and more info, CLICK HERE, or call 732-542-4962. You can also email for info at adoptions@monmouthcountyspca.org.

And join the MCSPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, for an All Faiths Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, Oct. 7th, from Noon - 5 pm. They will have vendors, food trucks, and music, too! Bring ALL of your species of animals -- all types of pets are welcome! And bring the whole family, too! You may even want to adopt a new pet while you're there : ) Rain or shine, don't miss this special event. For more info, email info@monmouthcountyspca.org.
