This Young Boy Comes from Ocean Township

Our Point Pet of the Week, Rojo, was brought to the shelter by a family who was no longer able to care for him.

This 2-year old Terrier mix is the victim of a landlord who would not allow any pets so his family had to give him up. Rojo was the only pet in the home and he got accustomed to that lifestyle, so he would do best with a family that has no other pets. He is used to getting all the attention!

Rojo is a smart boy and knows most of his basic commands. He responds well to treats and is capable of learning even more tricks. He especially loves his human volunteer friends at the Monmouth County SPCA and enjoys taking walks with them and having some play time.

This precious dog also loves to cuddle and snuggle and appreciates a nice, comfy bed with a soft blanket in which he can crawl up for a nice nap (don't we all?!). Rojo also gives lots of kisses!
