This Young Dog was Found Wandering the Streets

The Monmouth County SPCA is taking good care of Turtle and trying to find him a forever home.

Our Point Pet of the Week,Turtle, looks to be about 2-years old but is really a puppy at heart. He looks like a terrier mix, and has a lot of love to give.

This dog is really smart and is enjoying making new friends, both human and canine. He loves everyone he meets. He knows the basic commands and, with a few treats, is always willing to learn more.

Turtle loves all the attention he is getting and his tail is constantly wagging with excitement and appreciation.

Playtime is one of Turtle's favorite times of the day because he loves toys and playing fetch! He also loves to go on adventures. Some of the staff and volunteers at the MCSPCA often take Turtle for car rides and hikes, or to the pet store to pick out some treats and toys.

Turtle also loves long walks on the beach and will stay at the side of his human friend taking in all the sights.

Turtle is staying at the Eatontown location of the MCSPCA and looking forward to meeting his new family.

The MCSPCA is open 7 days a week from Noon to 5 pm at 260 Wall Street in Eatontown in case you would like to go meet Turtle.

Also, if you need a last-minute Christmas gift, the MCSPCA is now planning their Valentine's Day Brunch by selling their 50/50 raffle tickets. The cost is $10 per ticket and last year's winner took home $16,000! The drawing will be Feb. 15th at 2 pm and the winner need not be present to win. This makes for a great stocking stuffer!
