Threat phoned into funeral home in Berkeley Township deemed not credible

An indirect threat phoned into an undisclosed funeral home in Berkeley Township late Thursday night is deemed not credible by police.

Detectives investigated the threat which was left on the funeral home's answering machine and did not target any specific school or location.

Police add that "there is and was never any threat towards any school within the Township."

However, charges are pending against the individual responsible for the initial phone call.

Berkeley Township Police traced the threat back to an adjoining town, but which one is currently unknown.
