Major South Toms River Addition Was Just Given Approval

A major addition has just been approved for South Toms River.

According to Shorebeat.com, "the development firm, M&T at STR Urban Renewal LLC is going to be building a residential and commercial project that will consist of 360 housing units, a 100-room hotel and acres of commercial property."

The complex will be located between Chamberlain Street and Railroad Avenue near Dover Road. The tentative address is 379 Dover Road.

I think this is a win-win-win for all parties involved. There will be apartments for people to live in, hotels for visitors, and as a result, more jobs will be available to Jersey Shore residents.
