Toms River Police and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office were on the scene outside the old Boston's Pizza (and Mugsy's) location and 'Golf Range' on Fischer Boulevard investigating a suspicious incident this morning around 11:00 am.

"We got a call about a suspicious package at the bus stop at Hooper/Fischer. The New Jersey State Police bomb squad investigated and found no threat to be present. All roads are now open," Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little tells WOBM News.

Toms River Police Officers were detouring traffic heading in the direction of the traffic light outside of Pizzeria location and had blocked the roadway in both directions up until around 1:44 pm Wednesday.
