The top 50 was determined by a combination of airplay on The Point and year of your requests.

It was an eclectic year in music to say the least. While pop music dominated, it was a 70s-style throwback kind of pop with Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" and Bruno Mars' "Treasure."

On the other end of the musical spectrum, we also saw a healthy amount of alternative rock crossovers. Imagine Dragons had a monumental year with their album "Night Visions." Three tracks off that album made our top 50. After their Grammy winning success, Mumford & Sons landed on our radar along with Of Monsters And Men.

Major musical comebacks from Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga also impacted our year end roundup.

But it was Billboard magazine's 2013 Woman of the Year Pink's duet with Fun. frontman Nate Ruess that took number one this year. Pink's "The Truth About Love" album was the second best selling of the year and produced four smashes including "Blow Me One Last Kiss," "Try," "True Love" and The Point's number one song of the year.
