There are plenty of people who may NEED to do background checks but now it is apparently at everyone's disposal.

I stumbled across this article that discussed this website called Truthfinder which allows anyone to search ANYONE and find out just about everything that there is to know.

I gave it a try, and it is extremely accurate. It knows not only where I live now, but where I have lived, and who is in my immediate family and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

There are reviews that have people raving that the website helped to find lost family members or alert them of previous sex offenders in their area, but do we really need to have our parking tickets made to be public knowledge?

What do you think, is this crossing a line of personal privacy or is it a tool that needs to be taken advantage of?
