TV Series Reflects the Real People of NJ
Have you seen Driving Jersey? It’s a reflection of the ‘regular’ people around our great state and a chance for you to get to check some amazing things happening right here that you may not have known about!.
The PBS Series Driving Jersey kicks off season three soon…but there’s one episode that debuts tonight at 8:00 pm (Dec. 18, 2013), and it’s a great one for the whole family.
Driving Jersey: The Holiday Drive 2013, premiers on NJTV tonight at 8 pm and follows Steve’s travels in search of the Spirit of Christmas. And he found some unique expressions of the joy of the holidays.
In one segment, he explores Allaire Village and its fun, festive, historic interpretation of the holidays. Driving Jersey also takes us to another part of the Garden State for the Dickens Festival inspired by the Victorian era, and Steve drives to a hair salon in Manahawkin that shows the holiday season reflected in that community. This is a great show for the whole family, and reminds you of what our state is REALLY all about: the regular folks like you and me.
And stay tuned this winter for an exciting third season, including a wonderful piece on the four seasons of Seaside and Burlesque in Asbury Park!
